Durban property owners may lodge valuation complaints
Durban property owners can now start lodging objections to their property valuations if they are unhappy with the current assessments.
The objection period started on September 19 and will end on October 31.
Any property owner or other person who desires to lodge an objection to a matter reflected in or omitted from the General Valuations Roll can do so with the municipal manager within the prescribed period.
The forms for lodging an objection can be collected at the Valuation Roll, Real Estate Unit, 13th Floor, 75 Langalibalele Dube (Winder Street), Durban, at any of the city's Sizakala Customer Centres, or downloaded from the municipality's website www.durban.gov.za
